Billy Damon was born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts. He is a Minnesota transplant from Florida and has also lived in Arizona and Montana! He had always loved animals since he was young and began working in veterinary hospitals when he was 16 with an initial goal of becoming a veterinarian. He realized over the next few years being a veterinary technician was more of his passion. He joined our team in February 2023 with 23 years of combined technician and management experience and has worked primarily in emergency settings for most of his career.

Billy lives in Saint James with his girlfriend Melissa and her daughter Marya. Combined, they have 3 cats (“Marchand”, “George”, and “Orange Kitty”), 1 dog (“Cheyanne”), an African Grey parrot (“Alex”), 3 slider turtles, 2 bunnies, and a mini pig named “Albert”! They have quite the zoo! When not at work or caring for the menagerie of animals at home, he enjoys playing guitar, cooking, hiking, attending concerts and sporting events, going to theme parks, and watching his hometown Boston sports teams on TV.
